10 December 2021 – Hobnail & Christmas Concert
Come along and enjoy this last concert of 2021. Hobnail will get your feet tapping and your heart singing with their great songs, wonderful harmonies and lively show.
Rob Joass – vocals, guitar and mandolin; Jo Moir – vocals and violin; Hamish Graham – multi instrumentalist. Their fusion of bluegrass, Celtic, folk, pop and rock’n roll will delight us all.
The evening will begin with a slightly shortened blackboard, followed by a short break. We are unable to supply supper under current Covid conditions but you are welcome to bring your own supper and refreshments. Special Christmas raffles on sale.

The LEVIN FOLK MUSIC CLUB is holding its
10th DECEMBER CONCERT featuring the “HOBNAIL TRIO” at the usual venue- HOROWHENUA SCOTTISH SOCIETY HALL, 155 BARTHOLOMEW ROAD, LEVIN.
Covid has caused a lot of headaches and heartaches – so the LFMC is very fortunate in being able to hold its December/Christmas Concert under the ‘Orange Traffic Light’ requirements.
VACCINE PASS VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED-
DOORS WILL OPEN AT 6.45pm – a little earlier than usual- because the verification is going to slow us down a tad at the door but our Club is part of the “Team of 5million” and we wish to keep everyone safe.
DOOR CHARGE (which includes a light supper) is $5.00 FOR EVERYONE, STUDENTS $3.00.
It’s great too because for the first time since our August Concert everyone can mingle and at the half-time supper break we can actually have a cuppa and muffin; If – because Christmas is nigh, or you want to celebrate the ‘Orange Traffic Light’ freedoms- you wish to “bring a plate” to share you are more than welcome to do so.
By the way- there is also a Raffle- “THE TWELVE PRIZES OF CHRISTMAS”- which includes x3 large and x9 small Christmas Cakes (un-iced), x3 Christmas Puddings, x12 boxes Roses Chocolates, x6 boxes of Tarts, and x3 small boxes of Biscuits. Tickets are x1 for a $1.00; x3 for $2.00 and x7 for $5.00.
