23 January 2026 – Harvest Moon 2-hour concert


John and Val Jenkins, and the Levin Folk Music Club, bring you a special 2-hour Harvest Moon concert on Friday 23 January 2026.

Harvest Moon is a Wellington-based Americana and country band that have been captivating audiences in the Lower North Island for the last five years with their rich harmonies and masterful musicianship.

The band is made up of seasoned musicians who share their deep love for the timeless sounds of country, folk and roots music. The lineup features an array of instruments, including – pedal steel guitar, accordion, piano, dobro guitar, banjo, acoustic and electric guitars and a driving rhythm section that gives their music both depth and energy.

Music from great artists like Johnny Cash, John Prine, Buddy Miller, Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell,
Ry Cooder and Little Feat, along with a few surprises that make each performance unique.


Come along to this special concert, Friday January 23rd at the Horowhenua Scottish Society Hall, 
155 Bartholomew Road, corner Bartholomew Road and Middlesex Street, Levin.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the evening begins at 7:30 pm. Harvest Moon will entertain you for an hour before supper and an hour after.

Admission, which includes a light supper, is $10 for members, $15 for non-members and $3 for students. Cash only (no eftpos facilities).
