13 March 2026 – Andrew London Duo

Kiwi musical satirist Andrew London and partner Kirsten deliver original songs about life’s obsessions, absurdities and taboos. Their style is a hybrid of jazz, blues and folk – Andrew describes it as a cross between Willie Nelson and Gilbert & Sullivan. Targets include pre-tentious socialites, televangelists, technology, youth culture, neighbours, and the joys of trying to earn a living in what we laughingly refer to as ‘The Music Business’.

The duo have played clubs, festivals and functions all over New Zealand, also venturing as far as Sydney, Melbourne, Norfolk Island, Germany and Saudi Arabia.

Recent reviewers have made comparisons to the late John Clarke who admitted to being a fan, Tim Minchin, Flanders and Swann, Jake Thackray, Tom Lehrer, even Noel Coward, and after a recent appearance live on NZ’s National Radio, one commentator remarked ‘’I’ve never seen anyone sing so many words, so fast, without swallowing his own tongue. You guys are Flight of The Conchords for Rest Homes’.
