“Their original material is presented with a unique blend of dulcimer, whistles, guitar, double bass and soaring counter-melodies.

“Their sound is raw and familiar, yet still manages to surprise. Each song is filled with dancing harmonies and country and blues-inspired picking, creating an old-time vibe.”

“Butter Wouldn’t Melt sing of New Zealand history, long-lost lovers, fairy tales and distant serial-killer relatives.”
